Passengers on a Cathay Pacific moody from Perth to Hong Kong that had to make an puncture alighting after one of a engines unsuccessful have described a pell-mell scenes that unfolded on-board.

Musician Joel Sirna told 6PR radio while some people remained calm, others started to panic on Flight CX170 – that landed safely in Bali on Friday morning.

‘The lady subsequent to me started freaking out, crying, so we only try and ease everybody down,’ he said.
